Embroidery/Direct to Garment Supervisor

Print NW is currently seeking an Embroidery and Apparel Supervisor to join our team. 

Responsibilities: - Picking and staging orders. - Checking picked orders. - Invoicing/shipping checked orders. - Prepares shipping documents to meet customer requirements - Ensures that all shipments meet the shipping guidelines - Maintains effective communication with all customers both internal and external - Completes all documents and prepares shipping paperwork in a timely and precise manner to ensure compliance regulations are being met - Confers with Management and associates on departmental problems - Inspects material handling documentation and reports - Use of Microsoft Office programs (Excel and Word) required Education and Experience Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent 1 - 3 years related experience preferred but not required Strong attention to detail Forklift experience highly preferred Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to bend, stoop, reach, pullThis position is full time, hourly rate $18-$23 per hour doe Schedule: Typical hours: Monday - Friday must be able to work flexible hours, including early shifts, late shifts, weekends and OT as needed RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assists with production planning for embroidery and direct to garment job tickets.
  • Prepares embroidery machines by hooping, changing needles and thread while securing attachments.
  • Adjusts machine performance on material by observing machine operation, detecting malfunctions and adjusting settings
  • Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements
  • Track and prepare supplies for upcoming orders
  • Time and track all tasks by completing online data collection
  • Read and understand work orders
  • Identify incoming boxes for order to be printed
  • Maintains product quality by inspecting finished product
  • Package finished printed garments in preparation for shipping

 

Minimum Requirements:  2+ years' experience with an embroidery machine High level of accuracy, exceptional organization skills and keen attention to detail Ability to troubleshoot issues and think critically independently

  • Ability to multi-task and work quickly but efficiently- example using multiple machines for production at once
  • Regularly stand for long periods of time while reaching with hands and arms
  • Specific vision abilities include sharp vision, focus, depth perception and ability to identify colors
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend complex written or oral instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English Physical Requirements: Ability to lift to 50lbs regularly Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to bend, stoop, reach, pull
