Located in Pierce County, alongside the I-5, and just ten minutes south of Tacoma, Print NW is an accelerated business with innovative printing and marketing strategies, seeking to add a full-time Pre-press Manager to our team.

Previous experience and knowledge of the printing industry is required.

As a Pre-Press Manager, You Will:

  • Manage a team of employees, including coaching and training team members of the functions of the department
  • Create and manage Prepress Workflow automation
  • Troubleshoot complex file issues, finding solutions to prevent future errors
  • Proof and monitor quality standards
  • Establishing goals and objectives in order to meet deadlines
  • Oversee pre-press printing systems and workflows, problem-solving when issues arise
  • Communicate with customers and vendors, maintaining positive relationships

Who You Are:

  • A proficient leader versed in multitasking and performing well in a deadline-driven environment
  • Skillful in Adobe Suite with a focus on Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
  • Advanced in Pitstop Pro, Pitstop Server and Enfocus Switch
  • Experience in automation proofing workflow and process (Workfront Proofing)
  • Knowledge of variable data production and process (XMPie)
  • Understanding and ability to maintain Color Management Process
